Melissa Rioux hails from Blue Hill and now resides in beautiful Penobscot with her husband and 2 children. She is a lifelong maker and artist who has taught all ages for the past 21 years in New York and coastal Maine. She is currently art teacher and Dept Chair at George Stevens Academy in Blue Hill. While she loves a range of mediums, her current work is primarily watercolor landscapes, bound books and jewelry. More of her work can be found at Handworks Gallery in Blue Hill, Maine.
