Janis Guyette

Janis believes in the well-being benefits of having a daily creative practice, fulfilling a basic human need. Since retiring, making art has become a priority. After taking various classes for many years, mostly from talented and generous instructors through Schoodic Arts For All, she realized she needed to pare down her many interests. She currently focuses on acrylics, watercolor, gouache, collage, and often takes a mixed media approach with them. Growing up in midcoast Maine, she feels fortunate to have been able to continue living and working in Maine, and now hanging with like-minded artist friends.
