Bethany Preble
Watercolor, Acrylic, Oil
Painting is a therapy unto itself. I was diagnosed with CRPS (moving my hands is 1 therapy), my Mother was dying of stage 4 colon cancer and my soul needed mending. Enter stage right, a group of fellow artists that have mentored, comforted, painted, lifted & sashayed into my life. They make me want to be better, to see beyond the trees & try hard things. I have been painting with watercolors for the last few years, with a self introduction into acrylics recently. Downeast Maine has the most beautiful rocks, trees, blueberry fields, mountains and waters to paint! I love that I paint like my Mom & maybe a little like Marsden Hartley.
