Becky O'Keefe

I have spent most of my life living and working close to nature. My artwork is inspired by both the beauty I see around me and the mood it evokes in me. My husband and I love to snorkel, so much of my work is inspired by the many hours we spend below the surface, in the lakes here in Maine and tropical waters off various islands. I have begun experimenting with pressed seaweed and plant material as part of my artistic journey. The need to create is a powerful force that is ever present in my life.
